Starting December 1, 2025, Mattresses collected at our Stowe and Johnson Transfer Sites will be going to Casella’s Mattress Recycling Center. With this change in service there will be a Price increase to $45 per mattress for all sizes including box springs. We will no longer be accepting Mattresses at our Worcester location.

The recycling processes recovers 80% of discarded mattresses for recycling. We believe that keeping this material out of Vermont’s one Landfill, is the right thing to do an may add additional time for the facility to continue to accept Vermonter’s waste.
