COVID-19 Operational Adjustments

As of April 6, the current operation schedule is as follows:

Craftsbury Drop-Off: Open Saturday, April 11 & 25 with extended hours to allow for social distancing, 8:00am – 2:30pm. Closed Saturday, April 18 & May 2. A new box will be on site into which customers will deposit bags of trash. Our attendants will not be handling items so customers should be prepared to unload their own items when they arrive.

Eden Drop-Off: Remains closed. Please use the Johnson Transfer Station at 941 Wilson Road as an alternative. (See hours below.)

Johnson Transfer Station: Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 8:30am – 3:30pm. Phone: 635-9246

Morrisville Drop-Off: Open Saturday April 11, April 18, May 2 with extended hours to allow for social distancing, 8:00am – 3:00pm. Closed Saturday, April 25.

Stowe Transfer Station: Wednesday – Monday, 7:30am – 3:00pm, Phone: 253-4059. Freon appliances are no longer being accepted at this location. Glass can now be recycled separately from other recyclables at this location; consider sorting it at home before arriving to the site.

Stowe Bottle Redemption Room: Closed until further notice. Redemptions will not be paid-out but bottles and cans may be left for donations. Donations benefit the United Way and the Lamoille Community Food Share.

Stowe Reuse Room: Closed for picking up items until further notice. Materials are still accepted for a fee.

Worcester: Saturdays, with an additional hour, 7:30am – 2:00pm Phone: 229-2719. A change in traffic flow has been implemented to allow for social distancing while customers are unloading materials.

The office building at 29 Sunset Drive in Morrisville has been closed to the public. Employees are working remotely and limited hours. You can reach us by phone at 888-7317. Call the facilities directly when possible if you want to know for sure if the site is open before you load up and go.
